Goodie Bag using Deseos Pequenitos and the Snow Flurry Bigz Die for the Bigshot from Stampin' Up!

Hi there My Stampin' Friends, I'm trying something new today. I'm posting via e-mail
for the first time. I hope it works! 

 

Today I'm sharing a treat bag I made with a white mini lunch sack and the Northern Flurry
Embossing Folder. I sponged with a dauber to enhance the snowflakes on the bag and then I
used some marina mist cardstock and some silver glimmer paper to cut snowflakes with the
Snow Flurry Bigz Die for the Bigshot.  I added a sentiment from the Deseos Pequenitos stamp
set. Finally, I added some Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz and some of the basic rhinestones to
 jazz it up a bit. This will be going to one of my local Stamping Friends since they know what
snowflakes are all about and have experienced quite a few of them around here the past few winters.

My Swap from the Stampin' Up! Baltimore Regional

Hi there My stamping Friends, The Stampin' Up! Baltimore Regional was just as much fun as I expected it to be! I learned so many new tips in the morning session that I could have left at lunch and been completely satisfied.....but WHY would I do that? And if I did that, I would have missed Glenda Travelstead's workshop which was a complete hoot. She is so funny.

I swapped out my cards as soon as I got there and have about 20+ new cards to photograph and show you. I took a bunch of photos of the display boards so I can share them as well.

Below is the final card I used for my swap. I showed you a similiar one but I changed out the layers a little (this time I tore the crumb cake rather than the night of navy) and added Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink to the star. Hope you like it.

For this card I started with a Night of Navy card base and spritzed some Smooch Spray on the front.Next I took a piece of Crumb Cake (4 x 5-1/4)  I used some Night of Navy ink and the Come to Bethlehem stamp set for the main image. I then tore the Crumb Cake layer and flipped the top part over to make a sandy hill. I sponged the edges of the crumb cake and attached it to the bottom portion with the main image. I stamped the sentiment on the Crumb Cake Layer and adhered it to the card base. I finished it off with some Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink on the star (you might only be able to see a little bit of that). Hope you like my card. Christmas in October....

Hi there My Stamping Friends,

I can't believe my first post of October is a Christmas card, but it is. Don't worry, I LOVE Autumn and I will definitely make projects for the season, but I got this stamp set and this simple card was just calling me. Hope you like it.

I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the base. I cut a piece of Night of Navy and covered it with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz (#118772). I tore that in half on a diagonal (might as well make two cards if you're already making one). I attached it to the top left corner of the card base and then used my Come to Bethelem set (#120591-clear) with Night of Navy ink to create the main image on the bottom and the sentiment above that. As my girls would say, it was Easy Peasy.

I'm going to be working on swaps tonight and heading to the Baltimore Regional tomorrow but I'll have something to post for tomorrow so you don't miss me.
