Stampin' Up! Stocking Punch NOT carrying over, Carryover List Avaialble Now, Clearance Blitz and Project Photos

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE to all my Stamping Friends, I hope you have been enjoying a wonderful holiday season, celebrating with your family and friends.  That’s what we’ve been doing here so I have lots of things to share with you on this last day of 2011.
BIG NEWS – THE STAMPIN' UP! STOCKING PUNCH will NOT CARRY OVER to the next catalog.
That’s right, Stampin’ Up! has decided not to carry over the Stocking Builder Punch (item 124095) from the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog into the next Idea Book & Catalog. Instead they will offer other great designs in its place--not to mention a trendy, new design planned for next holiday season. It is only available until January 4th and ONLY WHILE SUPPLIES LAST so if you want it, please get it now.

Once the current inventory of this punch has been depleted, it will no longer be available for purchase. We hope many Stampin' Up! stockings will adorn cards and brighten holiday projects this season and look forward to seeing what you create with the next seasonal design.
THE CARRYOVER LIST IS AVAILABLE – Some of the fantastic products featured in the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog are still available. You can see the products here.

CLEARANCE BLITZ – New items have been just added to the Clearance Rack. You can only purchase these items on-line but you can do this very easily at www.roseelleneastman.stampinup.net and clicking the ‘shop now’ button. You can order regular items as well as Clearance  Blitz items on the same order.
I will be placing an order this evening so if you’d like to get a few things and don’t have access to a computer to place the order, or don’t want to use a credit card online, you can contact me and I can arrange the order.

Now that we’ve gone over the REALLY IMPORTANT stuff, let’s catch up on a few projects from December.  Here are some photos of some treat bags I made for the girls teachers. Some were for a church based preschool and some were for public school teachers.

Do you think they look like pencils?

And here is a little snippet of how we spent the tail end of December 2012.

Thank YOU for making my 2011 so great. I hope you have a wonderful New Year Celebration, however you celebrate, and I wish you a fantastic 2012 full of happiness and joy.

Join my Stampin' Up! team on 12/13 & 14 for only $125..PLUS get FREE PACKS OF 12x12 DSP or DIGITAL DOWNLOAD of your choice, each month

That’s right!! You read that correctly!!  Join my Stampin’ Up! team December 13 or 14 for only $125 PLUS get FREE PACKS OF 12x12 DSP OF YOUR CHOICE or a MONTHLY DIGITAL DOWNLOAD OF YOUR CHOICE.

I know most of you are sort of expecting some sort of recruiting promotion during Sale-A-Bration (aka SAB) in January….and you’d be right to expect that this year as well. Stampin’ Up! has told us what the promotion is going to be, starting January 24th, and it sounds GREAT!

The BETTER news is that as a Leadership Attendee I AM ALLOWED TO OFFER THIS PROMOTION RIGHT NOW FOR TWO DAYS ONLY, DECEMBER 13TH AND 14TH. SO………Here is the scoop:
    ·         You can join my team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators today and tomorrow (December 13th and 14th) or January 24th – March 31st for only $125. That is $50 off the regular starter kit price which is already an awesome value since the kit is full of $340 worth of merchandise and supplies. The starter kit ships for FREE.
    ·         You get to choose the standard starter kit OR the digital starter kit.
    ·         The starter kit is customizable so you get to choose your stamp sets, card stock , ink and marker colors and more.
    ·         You will get a FREE PACK OF 12x12 DESIGNER SERIES PAPER OR A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD OF YOUR CHOICE (valued at 10.95 or less) each month of 2012, starting in February (which coincides with when the promotion was set to start). Shipping not included.
    ·         You can join as a hobbiest to get a discount on  your own purchases, or as a business builder to earn extra income, or anywhere in-between.
    ·         You will get 20% off your demonstrator orders (YES, you CAN just join for a discount on your own purchases).
    ·         You can place your first order today if you’d like, and that means you can purchase items from the upcoming mini catalog AND you can take advantage of the regular SAB promotion where you get an exclusive SAB item for every $50 you place STARTING TODAY. You will be able to do this if you join in January as well, however if you join today you’ll get your starter kit sooner and have more time to play with all the goodies inside that magical box.
    ·         Your first demonstrator order of $150 or more, within the first 45 days, will get a 30% discount rather than the regular 20% discount.
    ·         If you place your first qualifying order before January 3, 2012 you will also get 3 SAB items (for spending $150 or more) and you will get Hostess Benefits as well. Yup, demonstrators get to earn hostess benefits too!
    ·         Your merchandise order today not including the starter kit) will count towards your quarterly minimums. If you join now, your quarterly minimums wouldn’t have to be met until the end of your first FULL quarter, which in this case would be the end of March 2012. If you join in January, you’re minimums wouldn’t have to be met until June 30th.
    ·         If you want to stay on for three more months, you just need to place orders (one large order or multiple orders over a three month period) that add up to a that total $300 in merchandise.
    ·         During your demonstrator-ship (is that even a word?) you will receive a monthly magazine choc full of articles, product explanations, project samples that are demonstrate-able and reproducible so you can make them with your friends at a workshop or Open House event to show your friends and family what Stampin’ Up! is all about.
    ·         You will gain access to Stampin’ Connection, which is Stampin’ Up!’s social network site for demonstrators, which has over 200,000+ samples, and a forum area where you can find out all kinds of information about products, projects, Stampin’ Up! news, and much more.
    ·         If you decide to stop being a demonstrator there are no penalties. You don’t return anything to Stampin’ Up! and don’t pay any extra fees. You just don’t get to place any more orders, get any more discounts or get access to Stampin’ Connection, or get the monthly magazine.
    ·         If you join my team, you will also get a set of catalog stickers/tabs, a Stampin’ Up! decal for your car or house window, you get to attend my monthly team meetings, will get email updates to make sure you are on track for where YOU want to be.

Because I always like to include a photo of a project whenever I post, here is a little gift I made (a pouch full of jingle bells and twine) for the attendees at my big Scrapbooking and Card Making event last weekend. My next crop is going to be in Dunn Loring, VA (near Tysons Corner) on March 2nd and 3rd. Tomorrow I'll post more projects from the last crop.

Stampin' Up JOY card with Shaker Frame and Mica Flakes

(ugh, I forgot to hit 'post' the other day...so here goes)

Good Morning My Stamping Friends and Happy December!

It has been so warm in my neck of the woods (over 60 degrees F) that it berely feels like December. We weren't cold when we cut down our Christasm tree a few days ago and yesterday I wasn't even wearing a jacket. That's unheard of for me in December! Today, it's pouring rain and the temperature will drop dramatically so it's a pefect day for me to stay in the craft room and work on my Stampin' Up! Christmas Stamp-A-Stack AND some final details for my Scrapbooking and Card Making event this weekend.

Anyway, today I'm sharing a card we made during my last Stampin' Up! stamp club to show my friends how to use the Stampin' Up! Shaker Frames. I cased this card from fellow stamper Shannon Senecsko. I'm so glad she shared it.
    I used:

Stampin' Up! Day of Gratitude and Big Shot Die Leaves #2

Hi there My Stamping Friends, I hope you are all enjoying a relaxing day. Its raining here and if you learn anything about me, it's that I love the rain ....and I love my Stampin' Up! Big Shot! Two things on the same day makes for a very happy stamper.

Today I'm going to share two projects with you. The first is a card that I saw on Stampin' Connection (a site for Stampin' Up! demonstrators to chat about Stampin' Up! and to ooh and aah at everyone elses photos and be amazed at some of the creativity out there in the world) and I had to CASE it. I can't remember who made the card or I would thank them. If it was you, let me know and I'll add in a shout out to you.

For the card I made a mask using the Oval Scallop Frame die and my Big Shot. I sponged

Give Thanks with Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Holidays and Autumn Splendor

Good Morning My Stamping Friends, I don't know what the weather is like where you are right now but here in my corner of Northern VA it is so windy that you can hear it howling and on the way into preschool this morning my youngest daughter said it's 'raining leaves' today. This weather and this day (Veteran's Day) make me VERY thankful. Thankful for the the men and women that fight for our rights and freedoms and thankful that I can be inside to share my stamping with you.

Using Autumn Splendor & Hand-Penned Holidays to 'Give Thanks' with Stampin' Up!

Good Morning My Stamping Friends,  Since today is officially the first day of Autumn I wanted to share an Autumn card I made for a swap. The swap doesn't happen until Saturday so if you're one of the swappers, just close your eyes. For this card I used Stampin' Up!'s Autumn Splendor from the current Idea Book and Catalog and Hand-Penned Holidays from the current Holiday Mini.

    I started with

Stampin' Up!'s Raining Flowers general greeting card

Hi there Stamping Friends, I hope you've been inspired by a few of my latest posts and I hope you've even copied, or CASED some of them. I've been swamped getting ready for a vendor table I have this Saturday morning so today I'm showing you my CASED version of a card using the Stampin' Up! set called Raining Flowers. The original card I saw was shared on Stampin' Connection (a Stampin' Up-demonstrator-only website where demos can post photos of their creations, among other things). We currently have about 190,000+ photos on there and lots of discussion forums.

    Christmas Lodge from Stampin' Up!

At the Stampin' Up! Convention in July 2011, the attendees got a sneak peek at the new stamp set Christmas Lodge. Of course everyone loved the perfect Christmas tree in the set, but the snowy lodge was what caught my eye. I'm from New York so I could totally imagine sitting in there on a big comfy couch, under a blanket on a snowy Christmas morning while drinking hot cocoa by a fire. Ahhhhh.
Well with my kids back in school all morning I finally had time to pull out Christmas Lodge and play for a little while and here is my card share.

Tagtastic hostess set from Stampin' Up!

Hi there My Stamping Friends, I hope you're having a good Monday morning so far. I'm here to share the card I created with the hostess set Tagtastic from Stampin' Up! I love that every one of the six stamps in this set fits into a punch. Hmm...maybe I'll give myself a challenge to create a card for each stamp in the set. That could be fun.
Yesterday was my club meeting day and this is one of the cards we made. I seem to be on a cherry cobbler kick lately so I hope you're enjoying it as much as I am. (Headsup~Tomorrows post is cherry cobbler also).

For this card I ran a 4 x 5-1/2 sheet of whisper white card stock through

Una Feliz Navidad using Tradiciones Navidenas / Bells & Boughs from Stampin' Up

    Hi there My Stamping Friends,
It is starting to get a little cooler in my neck of the woods so I tried to cheer myself up by breaking out one of my new Stampin' Up! sets (Tradiciones Navidenas) and seeing what I could make. I found out I LOVE this set and can't wait to make a few more samples for my upcoming Spanish/English card classes. I love it so much that I'll probably make a similar card using an English language sentiment for one of my Christmas Card classes too.

For this card I used the

    September 11th, 2011

Hi there My Stamping Friends, I know this stamp is retired (it retired with the Summer Mini catalog in the end of August) but I had to share a card that I made to celebrate our nation's resiliance on September 11, 2011. I was a young mother of 1 (with one on the way) on 9/11/2001 and I was heading home to my parents house, about 20 minutes north of New York City, on that Tuesday morning when my mother called and told me to put on the TV and delay my trip. The events that unfolded that day and the days after were incredible and unforgettable. We honestly are in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

I was inspired by a card I saw on Stampin Connection, a facebook-type, social media website hosted by Stampin' Up! for all thier amazing demonstrators. It is choc full of chatting forums, produt tips and most importantly almost 187,000 samples of cards, scrapbook pages, 3D projects and much more, all made by my fellow demonstrators.  If you want to join my team and check out all the benefits of Stampin' Connection just visit my website at www.RoseEllenEastman.StampinUp.net and click on Join The Fun.

One FREE Stampin' Up Designer Series Paper pack for every three you purchase

Hi there My Stampin' Up! Friends, I'm here to tell you that the Stampin' Up! August Promotion is AMAZING!! Until the end of August, get a FREE package of Designer Series Paper when you buy three! You should consider using this limited-time offer to stock up on all your favorites, including brand-new designs from the Stampin' Up! 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog. That's what I'm going to do.

Think about which projects you'll be doing over the next 9-12 months and buy now, while we are having such a fantastic promotion. I know that I'll be using the Frightful Sight (#122351) for my girls' Halloween projects and gifts for their teachers and classmates. Who can pass us the Letters to Santa DSP (#122349) for their holiday cards and projects? I love the colors of the Berry Blossoms paper (#122350) so I'll have to get some of that and I KNOW that Just Add Cake (#124339) will be perfect for birthday cards that my girls are sure to make for their friends at school this year. And that's just for my girls. I haven't even mentioned all the scrapbooking, cardmaking and 3D gifts that I'll be working on, especially now that I have my hands on the new Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool and the Holiday Stocking and Stocking Accents dies for the Big Shot. I'm sure I'll be purchasing multiple packs of each so I'll probably get at least 3 free packs of paper!! And don't forget about the DSP Nautical Expedition (122343) in the Summer Mini Catalog ~ that isn't going to be available after August 31st so if you like it, stock up now!

Do you have friends that scrapbook or create cards or are papercrafters? Share a link to this blog post with them, share it on your facebook page, or save a copy of the flyer below (right click and save as) and e-mail it out to your friends. You never know who is looking for this for themselves or who is looking to get a gift for someone else and needs a good idea.

And to get your creative juices flowing, here are some photos from the samples at convention, showing lots of ideas for your Designer Series Paper projects. I don't know who made these projects since they were on display. If I knew for sure, I would happily give credit where credit is due.

Enjoy and have a wonderful day,
    Rose-Ellen
