A Fall Birthday card using Stampin' Up!'s Core'dinations cardstock, Sanding System and the Big Shot

Wow, I can't believe it's been sooooo long since I've posted. The end of summer was so busy with my little lasses and traveling that I was just enjoying my time with them before they all went off to school.  But that doesn't mean I wasn't stamping....I just wasn't blogging. Now that they are all at school, I've been enjoying my time in my craft room and here I am to post a project from the other day.

Yesterday was my darling hubby's birthday and he had to go on a business trip. I only got to see him for a few moments that morning but I had to make sure he had a card before he left on his trip. So, I made this card and had the girls sign it for him before they went to bed just so it was ready and waiting for him in the morning.

Stampin' Up!'s Tweet Leaves and Core'dination card stock make a fantastic birthday card
So, what do you think? I started with a Stampin' Up! crumb cake base and a layer of the new Core'dinations card stock in Early Espresso. I ran that through the big shot using the new Woodgrain textured embossing folder. I sanded with the Stampin' Sanding Block and was completlely blown away by the awesome Core'dinations Dust Buddy as it picked up every piece of dust and debris I made using the sanding system. I then wrapped a piece of Pool Party Seam Binding around that layer. I went back to my beloved Big Shot and cut out the largest leaf using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die. I markered the Tweet Leaves stamp and put my image directly on the leaf that I cut out and then I adhered it to the card layer with Stampin' Dimensionals. I finished up the card with a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes cut out and layered with the Word Window Punch and the Modern Label Punch.

My hubby loved the card. What about you? Feel free to leave me some love in the comment section and then have a fantastic day.

Betsy's Blossoms and Itty Bitty Banners by Stampin' Up!

I was so, so, so stinkin' excited to get my box of sneak peek goodies that I ordered from Stampin' Up! this week (an awesome benefit of being a demonstrator is that we get to order products one month before they are available to the public).I wish I could show you photos of all the products in my box of goodies, but at this point, I'm only allowed to show projects, not products.

I finally got a few minutes to stamp and play around for a bit on Sunday and here is what I came up with.

I had several frames that I picked up at a craft store years ago, sitting on my desk (honestly, they were waiting to go in the donation box) and as soon as I saw this wonderfully colorful Designer Series Paper from from the Floral District pack, I knew I had to alter the frame. I cut the

Christmas Lodge from Stampin' Up!

At the Stampin' Up! Convention in July 2011, the attendees got a sneak peek at the new stamp set Christmas Lodge. Of course everyone loved the perfect Christmas tree in the set, but the snowy lodge was what caught my eye. I'm from New York so I could totally imagine sitting in there on a big comfy couch, under a blanket on a snowy Christmas morning while drinking hot cocoa by a fire. Ahhhhh.
Well with my kids back in school all morning I finally had time to pull out Christmas Lodge and play for a little while and here is my card share.

Tagtastic hostess set from Stampin' Up!

Hi there My Stamping Friends, I hope you're having a good Monday morning so far. I'm here to share the card I created with the hostess set Tagtastic from Stampin' Up! I love that every one of the six stamps in this set fits into a punch. Hmm...maybe I'll give myself a challenge to create a card for each stamp in the set. That could be fun.
Yesterday was my club meeting day and this is one of the cards we made. I seem to be on a cherry cobbler kick lately so I hope you're enjoying it as much as I am. (Headsup~Tomorrows post is cherry cobbler also).

For this card I ran a 4 x 5-1/2 sheet of whisper white card stock through

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hi there My Stamping Friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. We certainly did. We have lots to be thankful for and lots to celebrate this Christmas. The girls went back to school Monday after a long winters break and the transition wasn't easy....for me. I have to admit that they got up and got ready without any complaining. I think they were ready to go back and catch up with friends. I, on the other hand, felt like whining from the minute my alarm clock went off. I was not ready to get back into the routine. But now I am and one of my resolutions this year is to be more organized, in everything. I really think that will give me more time for different things. So now its time its time to start posting on a regular basis again.

Before I go on to show you my card I want to remind you that THE NEW MINI CATALOG IS HERE. You should have received one in the mail (if you didn't, please let me know and I'll get one to you right away). My package of goodies should arrive on Thursday night so I'll post new things in a few days.

I will catch up with posting my current projects, but for now I'll show you the Stampin' Up! Christmas card I made this year.

I used a Cherry Cobbler card base and stamped snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes in Cherry Cobbler onto a piece of very vanilla. I stamped Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes and punched it with the modern label punch and layered it on the decorative label punch. I wrapped a piece of cherry cobbler seam binding around the whispter white layer and attached that to the base. I used dimensionals to attach the cherry cobbler punch shape to the card and I was done. It was actually pretty quick to whip out 100+ of these.

If you want to purchase any of the Stampin' Up! products mentioned here please feel free to contact me at 703-200-2340 or via email at my e-mail address StampingWithRose-Ellen@cox.net

Enjoy the card and tomorrow I'll post one of the other two cards I sent out.
