I was so, so, so stinkin' excited to get my box of sneak peek goodies that I ordered from Stampin' Up! this week (an awesome benefit of being a demonstrator is that we get to order products one month before they are available to the public).I wish I could show you photos of all the products in my box of goodies, but at this point, I'm only allowed to show projects, not products.
I finally got a few minutes to stamp and play around for a bit on Sunday and here is what I came up with.
I had several frames that I picked up at a craft store years ago, sitting on my desk (honestly, they were waiting to go in the donation box) and as soon as I saw this wonderfully colorful Designer Series Paper from from the Floral District pack, I knew I had to alter the frame. I cut the

Stampin' Up! Flower Fest card and Inspiration Photo
Good Morning My Stamping Friends, Today I’m sharing a card I made a few weeks ago right before I left for the Stampin’ Up! Convention 2011. I was working on a project and was having a stampers version of ‘writers block’. So I took a break and had brunch at a friend’s house. While I was there she showed me her new front porch furniture and cushions. They were so bright and cheery that they snapped me out of my ‘stampers block’ and as soon as I went home I was inspired to make this card.
I used the Flower Fest and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets and the new Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon. There is a supply list at the end of the post to make it easier for you.
Here are my inspiration photos of the colorful and cheery cushions on my friend’s porch.
What do you think? Can you see the resemblance? Leave a comment and let me know.
I’m off to clean up from my 2 stamp clubs yesterday and to get some work done in my craft room. I’m hoping to get some cards done so I can schedule some posts for my blog for next week when I’m on vacation. Read ‘vacation’ as: visiting my folks in NY on the way to take our daughter to Boston for her annual check up with her radiation oncologist. I can’t believe it’s been almost 2 years since we finished that part of her treatment. We are a very lucky and blessed family!
Hope you have a great day.
Rose-Ellen
P.S. If you’re local, or in town for a visit, I’d love to have you come to my Open House this Friday night. Visit my web calendar at www.roseelleneastman.stampinup.net for all the details and to RSVP.

NEW CATALOGS ARE HERE plus Color Renovation - Retrofit Kits
Hi there My Stamping Friends,
THE NEW CATALOG IS HERE!! WAHOO!! If you've reserved a copy with me or if you are one of my club members, or an upcoming hostess, you can contact me to arrange to get the new catalog in your hot little hands. Meanwhile I'll be posting information about my New Catalog Open House. At that time, you can come by to get your catalog, check out some new products from the catalog, purchase some of my retired stamp sets, chat with other stampers about your favorite new items in the catalog, nibble on some appetizers, enjoy a beverage, see some upcoming projects, join a stamp club (I have a few openings), schedule a date to hostess your own event, and complete a Make & Take.
I don't have any creations to post today because I'm just getting back into town from a wonderful mini vacation with my darlin hubby and our girls. We visited my sister and her family and my Dad and had a fantastic time!! However, I am going to stamp for a while tonight so I'll have some items to post over the next few days so keep checking back (or click on the button to follow me). Oh, I don't think I've mentioned it, but I'm posting things on Twitter too. You can follow me there @ REEastman
