I'm stopping in to catch you up on some posts I put on my business Facebook page but haven't yet posted on my blog. If you haven't heard yet, I'm hosting a Northern Virginia Stampin' Up! Style Regional Gathering on March 8th. I want to make this a fantastic event for all the attendees so I've put my head down and have been working pretty much non-stop on this event, and I'm so excited about how it's coming along.
Today I'm sharing the demonstrator presenters at our event:
Current Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Member Jennifer Timko has been a demonstrator since October 2006 and she has loved every minute of it. She grew up in Orlando and moved all over while she was in the Air Force, until she settled in Warrenton, VA in 2001. While Jennifer has always loved Stampin' Up! Ribbons she has recently been falling in love with our punches and our Big Shot dies because they add so much WOW for such little effort. Jennifer is mostly a card maker. She does love MDS and the mechanics of #-d items but cards are her happy place. Her style is generally clean stamping. Not always simple, but she loves the clean lines and crisp layers. She also tries to add something special to each card to make it feel unique to the intended recipient. Being on the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team this year has been a highlight of her Stampin' Up! career and she feels its an amazing experience to be able to share what she loves making, with so many people. You can find her at StampinOnTheFly.com
I'm very happy and excited to share the news with you that the wonderful Sharon Cline is going to be presenting at the Northern Virginia Stampin' Up! Style Regional Event on March 8th. Sharon hails from Purcellville, VA after being born and raised in Vienna, West Virginia, and she became a demonstrator in February 2004 as a hobbiest. She very quickly was talked into hosting her own workshop in her home and after stamping with her best friends she discovered how much fun it was. It was no surprise to many that she attained the Stampin' Up! Rising Star status. Right now her favorite products are the Big Shot and the Envelope Punch Board. The Big Shot allows her to use the wonderful Stampin' Up! framelits, dies and embossing folders to create so many beautiful projects, and the envelope punch board puts a whole new spin on cards along with being able to make 66 different sized envelopes! While hosting her Stamp Camps Sharon teaches something new and different each time and that is how she discovered her untapped talent for teaching along with her love of sharing what she loves to do. She also loves all the wonderful folks she's met and the friendships that have developed over the years. We're looking forward to seeing your WOW presentation Sharon
My Super Exciting news to share today is that the Punch Artist Extraordinaire, Michelle Suit will be presenting at the Northern Virginia Stampin' Up! Style Regional Gathering on March 8, 2014. Michelle was born and raised in Fredericksburg, VA and now join us from Manassas, VA. She has been a demonstrator for 4 years and during that time she has gained quite a following on her blog www.DisneySuitsMe.blogspot.com where she WOWS us with her amazing creations and especially her punch art including Disney Princesses as well as home grown creatures of all sorts. Her current favorite products are all the new punches and framelits. She says she does the '"Stampin' Happy Dance" when new punches and framelits are released because she loves using these things in new and innovative ways (ways they may not have been designed for), and honestly we love it when she does that too! She loves to take a punch and 'see' something just come to life in front of her. Most of all she loves being able to share her love of punches with other paper crafters and to see the look on their faces when they get that 'ah-ha' moment after they get a glimpse of all the possibilities they can create with products they already own. Michelle last presented at the Stampin' Up! Baltimore Regional in April 2013 and was also a Display Stamper for them at a prior Annual Convention in Salt Lake City (ask her about the amazing chocolate cake she made out of paper!!). Keep your eyes open for big news about Michelle. She has dreams to be on the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team and I'm betting she'll achieve those dreams.
Rose-Ellen Eastman originally hails from New Rochelle, NY and now lives in Falls Church, VA. After having her first child she left her position at ABC News in Washington DC to be a stay at home mom. She became a demonstrator in early 2007, went to her first convention that July and has been to every Convention, every Leadership Conference she was eligible for and every Regional Conference in her area. Rose-Ellen loves all paper crafting but is really a card maker at heart and she loves Clean and Simple stamping. That leads us to her favorite product; the Big Shot and all the accessories especially embossing folders, and framelits. She loves them because they help to give a card an exquisite look while keeping them simple to make. Rose-Ellen loves to 'share what she loves' and is an experienced presenter with Stampin' Up! In the past she has presented a WOW demonstration for the Hispanic Night Event at our Annual Convention in Salt Lake City, UT, a presentation on Reaching into Your Community at the Share Fair at the Leadership conference in Orlando, FL, presented a live webinar with Q&A session, and most recently did a presentation on the clear blocks at the Baltimore Regional Conference last April. She wants to thank her husband & four daughters for all their support, which is how she is able to have events like these. When she isn't with her family you can find her right here or at www.facebook.com/StampinUpWithRoseEllen
