A Good Egg Tic Tac Treat

Good Morning My Stamping Friends,
Today I'm sharing my 3D swap I made in mid January for a Leadership event I attended in Lancing, MI. I'm calling this one
A Good Egg Tic Tac Treat. Isn't he the cutest? I know he's going to be a hit when my daughters hand them out to friends at school, or leave one on the teacher's desk.
I started with Stampin' Up! Soft Sky for the base that was 2 x 8-1/2 inches and scored it at just under 4 inches from each side. The Tic Tac container is 5/8 of an inch wide so scoring it that way allowed the bottom to be flat with the Tic Tac container inside. Then I used the
Scalloped Tag Topper punch on each end and punched a
1 inch circle just above the fold mark on one side. I used the
Owl Builder punch and Daffodil Delight card stock for the chick, trimmed off the 'ears' and added a 'foot' as a feather to the top of his head. His eyes and beak came from the same punch and his wings were started out as a 1 inch circle and I used the circle punch to trim two wings from the circle. The cracked egg at the bottom is from the
Frozen Treats Framelit dies and the sentiment is from the
Sale-A-Bration item called
Hey, Chick (
which can be yours for FREE with a $50 purchase - more info on that below). and finished it off with some white 1/8 grosgrain ribbon from the
Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack. I got the mini packs of Tic Tacs at my local Dollar Tree store and used a glue dot on the back to hold it in place.
