Birthday Cards using the Gift Bow Bigz Die from Stampin' Up!

Happy Saturday My Stamping Friends,

We are enjoying one final holiday weekend as a family before school starts on Tuesday but I wanted to take a moment to share these cards with you. We made them at my last stamp club and I got such great feedback from them so I thought I'd share the love.

For these cards I used the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (#126902 $10.95) and the Gift Bow Bigz Die (#129977 $32.95) with my big Shot (#113439 $99.95) to make these fabulous bows. I stamped the sentiment with Perfectly Penned (#122892 $12.95 clear mount) on the whisper white layer and then attached the bow. For the card base, I coordinated each one with the designer paper bow. I used rich razzleberry, daffodil delight, pumpkin pie and marina mist.

If you'd like to get any if these items please shop online at my website at www.RoseEllenEastman.StampinUp.net and click on the SHOP button in the top right area of the page.

And don't forget to check out our current promotions while you're on my website. The latest one is 15% off the Papillion Potpourri and Butterfly punch bundle.

Have a fabulous Labor Day Weekend!!

Coastal Cabana all occasion card using En Francais, Secret Garden & Perfectly Penned from Stampin' Up!

Good Morning My Stamping Friends,

This is my last week havjng my kiddos home before the craziness of school starts (managing 4 kids in 3 schools seems like a full time job sometimes). I'm hoping that all my teacher friends are having a great first day back to school to set up their classrooms.

Today I'm sharing another card we made at stamp club this weekend. I'm planning on sending these cards to the teachers on the first day and start the year off the right way.

For this card I used the En Francais #128562, Secret Garden #129144 and Perfectly Penned #122892 stamp sets from Stampin' Up! The card base is Coastal Cabana and the flower is stamped in Daffodil Delight. I used my Big Shot #113439 and the Ovals Collection Framelits #129381 to mask the front of the card and the Adorning Accent Edgelits #125595 to mask the inside of the card.

What do you think?

Have a wonderful day!

Stampin' Up! #Convention2013 photo journal #BeTheDifference - Post #1

Hi there My Stamping Friends,

Are you overwhelmed with all the blog posts of what happened during the Stampin' Up! Convention 2013 in Salt Lake City, UT a few weeks ago? I hope not because I'm just starting to post mine on my blog. If you follow me on my facebook page (Stampin' Up! with Rose-Ellen) or on Twitter ( @REEastman) or on Instagram (MyStampingFriends) you might have already seen some of these photos or heard some of this news as it happened, but here is a pretty comprehensive set of photos of some projects and lots of friends I ran into during the day.

I was hoping to write blog posts from the Stampin' Up! Convention, each evening when I got back to my hotel, but that just wasn't meant to be. We had so much fun from way before sun up until way after sunset and to be honest by the time I got back to my hotel I barely made it into my pajamas before I fell asleep. Well, except for that night when one of my roomies, Amber, and I got the giggles and of course when you try NOT to laugh, you just laugh harder. I'm so glad we didn't keep Stephanie and Michelle awake. They MUST have been exhausted to sleep through our giggling.

Anyway, enough about that.....here are some photo highlights from my trip to Salt Lake City, UT for #Convention2013 and #BeTheDifference

Stampin' Up! #Convention2013 #BeTheDifference in Salt Lake City, UT - I arrived earlier in the day and
was able to meet up with a friend that had a car so we went up to the mountians. Beleive it or not, this
was my first trip outside of Salt Lake City even though this is my 7th convention.

Not a great photo but I still had to snap one with the greatest cameraman Tom. He knows
his stuff and is so patient when working with newbie presenters (like me at the Baltimore Regional)

Shelli Gardner brough out Ronald McDonald and when we heard Ronald speak of the incredible need
of these kids and their familes, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. For me, it took me right back
to when WE stayed in a Ronald McDonald house in Philadelphia when one of our daughters was sick.

We saw some projects demo'd on the main stage. This project uses the Tag a Bag gift bags
and accessory kit, and our Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set called Tag It ,
#130303 clear or #130300 wood mount. Buy the stamp set and Stampin' Up! send $3 to #RMHC.

Since Dawn's husband Richard gave her bunny ears we decided to try again but he's quicker than

HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY STAMPIN' UP!
Thanks for throwing such a great event and for sharing what you love with us!

I hope you enjoyed my first #Convention2013 post. I've got a few more coming but these photos are taking so long for some reason. I guess its time to take some of my photo collection OFF my laptop, right,

If you aren't a demo and you want to join in the festivities next year, I'd love to have you join my team and join us for a wonderful time at the next regional or convention. Just let me know and if you're local come to one of my team meetings and see what Stampin' Up! is all about.

Have a wonderful stamping day,
Rose-Ellen

Stampin' Up! Baltimore Regional conference on April 13, 2013

#OHMYGOSH!!  I was visiting a blog of my teammate Amber and she not only mentioned that I presented at the Stampin' Up! Regional in Baltimore, MD in April (Thank Amber) but she linked back to my blog (Double thanks Amber). So I decided to click on the link to re-live it and look at the photos that I posted from the event........only to find that THERE WERE NONE.....so off I went to find out why my post dissappeared (I KNEW I wrote one) and lo and behold, I found the post in DRAFT status. UUUGH!!  Well, it was a good post so I just re-read it and decided to post it now.  Here goes....

~~~~~~~~~~~
Howdy My Stamping Friends,
So much has happened since I last posted. One of the most fun things was attending the Baltimore Regional, but not just for all the amazing fun we have there, or seeing some neat new stamps, or checking out the new colors, or the make and takes, or the swaps, or chatting with Shelli and Sterling, and all those things are VERY COOL.
This time was so much more fun than other events I attend because I had the pleasure and honor of presenting a technique on the main stage in front of everyone..... and to top it off, I brought teammates and guests with me. It was so much fun being there with everyone as they got to meet Shelli, and swap thier first cards, participate in the Make and Takes and meet lots of new friends.
As if my day could have gotten any better, one of my guests signed up to be a demo right there AT the Baltimore Regional, and another guest signed up the next day! I LOVE what I do and I LOVE sharing what I love.
Here are a few photos from the Baltimore Regional.  Enjoy!
